Marvin Loomis of Kansas has quite a collection of "oldie but goodie" Byron Original kits. Marvin has put the Best Pilots Bob Sweeney in his P-47 and he looks GREAT! Marvin's sister painted Bob and he looks right at home. The P-47 is 1/6th scale, is powered by a Zenoah G-62 and guided by JR Radio.
I asked Marvin how his sister liked painting Bob and he said, "Lyle, the sculpting was fantastic, and my sister said it made him very easy to paint with the crisp lines.You have done a fantastic job with these pilots! They add a whole bunch of realism to the finished aircraft!"
It looks like Marvin's sister shouldn't put away her brushes. I see two more fantastic models that would accommodate another Bob Sweeney and a Pappy Boyington! I teased Marvin about this and he said he will be placing another order soon!
