We have another satisfied and talented Best Pilot customer! Darren Synott, of Australia sent us photos of Pappy in his new ride. He fits great in a TopFlite 1/5 scale Corsair.
Darren did a great job of painting Pappy and the Corsair just looks fantastic. The rivet detail, panel lines and weathering adds so much to the character of the Corsair!

Pappy arrived last week and I just want to thank you for such an awesome looking pilot! Great job! I've already had some great comments from people who aren't even into RC planes! I thought the photos of him are spookily realistic! :-)
The plane is a Top Flite GIant Scale Corsair 86.5" Wingspan. Engine is a Zenoah G62. I'm using an older radio system JR X-388S 8 Channel. Servos are still to be purchased should be 12kg torque when I get them. Covering technique was 3/4 ounce fibreglass using Great Planes Pro Epoxy Finishing Resin. Painted in the 'Marines Dream' colour scheme using Dulon Automotive paints mixed to the correct colours. Retracts are robart - pneumatic. Sliding Canopy rails added. Full cockpit interior. Riveted using 560 Canopy Glue and needle application bottle.
