Todd Davis of the Cedar Rapids, Iowa is adding more aircraft to the "Iowa Luftwaffe"! Todd is the CD of Warbirds over Iowa and is a very prolific scale modeler with a hangar full of excellently detailed and painted models. The following are photos of his latest....
This is Todd's Ziroli Stuka that he detailed last winter. He was very pleased with how Gunther looks in the pilot seat. I think the detail displayed in the cockpit is absolutely top notch!
The venerable Stuka sports a siren, bomb drop and smoke system! Todd says everyone likes to "shoot down" a Stuka. (I can't wait to get behind it with my Top Flite Mustang! Tee-Hee - Lyle) This should be a crowd-pleaser!
And here's a couple of photos Todd's latest FW 190. It's a Top Flite Giant Scale ARF that was bashed heavily changing it into an A9 variant. It has Sierra retracts, retractable canopy, and is glassed with all panel lines and rivets. Gunther is sporting the Dark scheme, with a black leather jacket and black fur collar.
